Magnesium Oil - Essence of Life
Available at the office too!
Essence of Life Magnesium Oil is derived from natural, condensed seawater and contains a multitude of healthful, dissolved minerals and trace elements. The “oil-like” (brine) feel is due to its viscosity and saturation of trace elements. Essence of Life Magnesium Massage Oil delivers high levels of magnesium directly through the skin to the cellular level, bypassing common intestinal and kidney symptoms associated with oral use.

• Drink alcohol on a regular basis
• Have a high sugar intake
• Smoke
• Eat a diet high in processed food and low in fresh fruit and vegetables
• Drink large amounts of beverages containing caffeine - tea, coffee, hot chocolate or cola
• Suffer from foot or leg cramps

Directions:
For transdermal magnesium supplementation and relief of aches, pain, soreness and stress, we recommend you put 1 Tbsp. or more in the bath tub or foot bath and soak for a minimum of 20 minutes. Adding a half cup or more of Essence of Life Magnesium Bath Flakes will enhance your magnesium experience even more. We recommend soaking in your magnesium bath on a regular basis for best supplementation.

Absorption of magnesium may be hindered by the following:

• High daily intake of drinks containing caffeine - tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cola
• Foods with oxalic acid block the absorption of magnesium - these are spinach, chard and rhubarb to name a few
• High daily intake of sugar
• Supplemental iron can impede magnesium absorption - take these several hours apart
• Smoking causes levels of magnesium to drop
• Drinking alcohol on a regular basis depletes the body of magnesium
• Eating a diet high in processed foods
• Low daily intake of foods containing magnesium

Research indicates that most people are lacking in magnesium and that many health issues are related to magnesium deficiency. Reduced levels of DHEA (the"youth hormone") is also directly related to magnesium deficiency.

Note: You may feel a 'stinging' sensation when first applying Magnesium Oil. This is normal and generally subsides, however if you feel uncomfortable, leave the magnesium on for a long as possible so that is absorbs into the body and then shower or wash off. The magnesium will absorb into the body in about 20 minutes, so the longer you can leave it on the more you will absorb. It is not necessary to leave magnesium oil/gel on the body for extended periods of time, you may wash off if it is uncomfortable.
